About once or twice per month, an EcoTrek INTENSE session is planned to shake things up!
How is it different from a "regular" EcoTrek session?
We usually use the same resistance bands, but we ramp-up the strength training, as well as increased cardio time, whether it's incorporating more hillwork or just simple plyometrics -- adding in a few out-of-the-ordinary exercises to keep your heart rate elevated and your lungs working hard.
Can you handle it?
You won't know until you try. If you've been doing EcoTrek sessions at least semi-regularly and doing your own additional cardio time on the side, chances are really good that you'll be just fine. As with any EcoTrek session, you'll always have options to challenge yourself at whatever level you choose, so even if you find it a bit difficult at first, the Leader will help you find the right balance.
Many hard-core workout people love to come to the EcoTrek INTENSE session to supplement their usual routines as cross-training, and tend to bring their friends along for the experience.
